Today I’ll be answering “What is the first anime one should watch?”

What is the first anime one should watch?

FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood. It has a great story, with interesting characters. That, it balances comedy and drama effectively. And for the guys, girls like it!

Great Story

Fullmetal Alchemist (for the sake of keeping simple, we’ll just say “FMAB”).

The entire anime is available now, so you’re able to enjoy all of the seasons in it’s entirety.

If you found the earlier version of the show (FullMetal Alchemist) [FMA] then you’ll notice that the stories are similar but change a bit.

Interesting Characters

Another aspect of FMAB that captures fans are the characters.

For many of the audience they could be caricatures of someone they relate to.

Balances Comedy and Drama

I tend to stay away from drama shows altogether.

And this show does touch on intense topics, but I find it humorous.

But as you could tell, they are all filled with hilarious characters that you care about.

Girls like it (Lob for the Guys)

There are a lot of protagonists in the show that seem to keep the attention of all genders watching.

I’m the type that actually looks at the opinions of others.

I like to see their feedback on different manga and anime.

I was intrigued by the users of your average forum pages that referenced their significant other who made this their first show to watch and both partners liked it.

I’ve watched this with a girl before but we were already a couple of older ones in at this point.

Final Thoughts

These are just the points, but they’re definitely strong ones.

FMA has a great story.

The characters are interesting.

It balances comedy and drama effectively.

And the girls like it just as much as the guys, making it universal.
