Today we’ll be looking at why Walmart succeeded, where K-Mart ultimately failed.

Why did Walmart succeed, where K-Mart ultimately failed?

Similar to target, they made shopping at supermarkets “cool.” However, there are things that Walmart did to separate themselves. Their always low prices was big. Plus, they were able to “treat” American customers with knowing their products are made at “home.” And finally, they have an attractive system in place that allows a full department for customers’ favorite items.

(Similar to target) they make shopping there “cool”
