Affiliate marketing is a great option for a career because affiliate can work from anywhere with an internet connection. With that comes these benefits:

• setting your own schedule
• Being able to expand their reach as a merchant and promote their products or services to a broader audience
• generating cash
• passive income
• ongoing learning

Ultimately there’s a lot of distractions early on but it eventually pays off with focus.

Why are affiliate marketers able to be so flexible with their schedule?

I’m finding that most affiliates are able to be so flexible with their schedule because a majority of it’s based around content creation.

The impact that a good affiliate has on a company could be tremendous depending on the quality of their approach to consumers.

When you have something as limiting as a fixed budget when it comes to affiliate marketing THAT’s when flexibility becomes your greatest asset.

Most people get stuck with moving forward as an affiliate marketer because of doubt that they’ll have enough time to be successful.

In reality that’s ridiculous to think when you consider we all make time for things we care about.

I’d like to compare it to a sport that requires being flexible for high chances of success.

One of my favorites is wrestling but you can fill in whatever you like that applies.

When I think of my example for wrestling it comes down to where being able to stay aggressive in uncommon positions will win you the match.

Especially when things are close and for most it would be tough to score.

This freedom is typically what makes affiliate marketing so attractive to people from the outside looking in.

The ability to do things on your time and spend money on almost whatever you want on demand.

What is the income potential for affiliate marketing?

You’re probably someone that cares to know what an affiliate marketer could make in the industry.

And that’s a fair thing to be interested in.

The income potential ranges thanks to a few factors that make a difference but the most important would be the comp plan. A

s for actual numbers though it could be a couple thousand dollars a month.

Or something near 70,000 a year on average.

A good majority of affiliate programs have periods of time you have to wait before there’s a commission payed out.

The range could be from a couple days to even months depending on who you’re looking to partner up with.

They cover all things related to practicing digital entrepreneurship and offer a unique breakdown step-by-step tutorial of effective techniques you can apply to your own business.

One of my favorite aspects that make up affiliate marketing is the fact your income is 100% dependent on your work ethic.

In today’s digital age it comes down networking and being able to build an audience.

And in reality it doesn’t even matter as much to focus on that rather than being able to produce quality marketing material in order to attract new faces and keep old ones satisfied.

Helping people in a genuine way should be the goal.

And as an affiliate marketer you’ll find that the best are able to connect with their audience authentically.

Why is critical thinking important in affiliate marketing?

I was lucky enough to take a class in high school about this subject.

Critical thinking alone is a skill that’s needed in the most innovative industries.

It’s important because in any industry where you have to produce it’s inevitable that there’ll be some out-the-box thinking that’ll need to be done.

This proves especially true in affiliate marketing.

It’ll most likely be the key to an issue when you’re focusing relaying a message that’s important but there’s issues that need addressing.

Maybe it’s language barriers or even copyright rules you’ll have to work around to meet whatever the goal is.

Either way it’ll be something that comes up as you progress in your career.

In my experience one of the most common areas where critical thinking was needed to serve our public was when I was doing high ticket sales.

We were dealing with machines that costed thousands of dollars and the objections that we had to help others get around were price.

To get even more specific in this example is where we assisted with getting 3rd party financing to allow our prospects to earn the product for personal use.

There’s not a cookie cutter method that applies to every company but it does speak a lot to whoever your partner is if you’re able to be flexible with your approach in making your customer happy.

If you’re not able to have things work out with the company you’re at now then the bright side you should see is being able to take what you learned elsewhere.

To zoom out a little bit from the micro-lens of affiliate marketing the art of critical thinking is a craft in reality that builds your character to an even more valuable level.

There’s plenty of FAKES when it comes to reps in the affiliate marketing space.

The good news in that is there’s also a lot of people that do it in a way that’s considered right.

It’s taken me over 3 years to simply build an audience off accredited accomplishments.

The first company that I’ve earned a commission off an affiliate sale was Enagic but I’ve gone on to earn in other areas as well.

The “secret recipe” to this is remaining a student that never completely boxes themself in one area.
