If you’ve seen it yet, or any of the other posts on this movie then you may have noticed that it looks different from your average cartoon movie.

Well there’s definitely a good reason as to why that is.

Was Nightmare Before Christmas made with clay?

Yes. It was made through a popular concept known as “claymation.’ Some of the most popular shows and movies have used this same process. It’s usually shot at 12 frames per second, but what makes this movie way different than other ones is that it was shot at 24 per second, giving it a more organic motion.
